Marketing Specialist

We are looking for an enthusiastic marketing professional, who’s passionate and motivated to create daily engaging marketing content for the Global Beauty & Personal Care Industry.

This is a professional journalism opportunity that would enable you to curate and originate content across multiple channels that include digital, social, video, audio, print, conference content and more.

Responsibilities:

• Write, edit, and fact check to create/edit content that’s accurate and unique to our marketing mission.
• Create copy and advertising text to achieve targeted revenue goals.
• Implement multiple marketing schedules across multiple channels for Allured Business Media’s brands and events.
• Track and analyze on-line advertising, sales and marketing campaign metrics with a plan of action to improve/increase conversions.
• Successfully manage online content utilizing HTML for all campaigns.
• Coordinate advertising schedules with PR/Social to extend the reach and frequency of the targeted audience.
• Complete on-line surveys, collaborating on research objectives, writing the questionnaire, securing the targeted audience, preparing the survey for deployment and preparing the results reports.
• Research and report strategic and/or analytical information respective to the vertical market served.
• Work collaboratively with the teams to develop engaging content with strong headlines, decks and imagery.

Qualifications:

• Solid writing skills to write persuasive marketing copy that results in direct action.
• Highly organized with an appetite for multi-tasking across different tasks to serve multiple brands.
• Solid communicator both in-writing and verbally (in-person and/or in meetings).
• Proven writing and analytical skills.
• Passionate self-starter that’s motivated to complete marketing tasks on target on-time.
• Driven by user engagement with advertising and marketing messaging.
• Associates or Bachelor’s in Journalism, Communications, English, Marketing or related field.
• Strong working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InCopy (Adobe) and
• 1-2 years’ experience in marketing preferred.
